Radhani Files, a seemingly attention grabbing film based on the plight of the Amaravati farmers had its theatrical debut today and here is what we have to say about the same.
Story: The film deals with the hardships faced by the Amaravati farmers after the YSR Congress led Andhra Pradesh government decided to go ahead with its three capitals proposal. It shows how the lives of the farmers changed drastically after the capital development become far too distant from reality.
How did the actors perform?
The film has a mix of experienced and new actors. Vinod Kumar and Vani Vishwanath play a middle aged couple and they deliver whatever is expected of them. Veena and Pushparaj play the lead roles and they are alright.
What about the technical finesse?
The film was made on a compact budget and that is understandable considering the genre and the theme. There is not much to comment on the technical aspects of the film.
Analysis:
The narrative centers around the hassles faced by the people residing in Amaravati after the YSR Congress government decided to make Vizag the executive capital. The internal politics associated with the same and the aftereffects form the main plot.
There are several scenes that replicate the current day political events. Even controversial scenes like 'Bathrood Goddali' 'Gudivada casino' "Thrashing Amaravati farmers' are seen in the film.
